| Hello!
It worked so well last week that we have decided to do it all month long!
Yep, last week’s first “Ladies’ Night” worked so well, that we decided to do it again… ALL MONTH LONG! So, the entire month of March at Ego’s Lounge on S. Congress and Riverside for our weekly shows only (excluding March 14), it’s free for ladies - NO COVER! I know some of the guys felt left out, so fellas, if you bring 2 ladies with you then you skip cover too! So head down to Ego‘s
tonight and make sure to call up your girlfriends and/or bring the wife
along because from 8:30-10PM, ONLY during the Nakia & His Southern
Cousins set - Ladies get in for FREE! (Hint: This leaves extra $$ for
you to buy booze with and/or tip us!)

Tomorrow
night I will once again have the honor to perform with the
award-winning ensemble, Will Taylor & Strings Attached, as a
featured vocalist. I will be joined by the lovely Fresh Up Girls, so join us as we celebrate the Sneak Peak Weekend at
the brand new Long Center for the Performing Arts. We will be performing
some classic songs by the Beatles. Click for more info….

Our official SXSW showcase this year is at Lamberts on Friday, March 14 to catch us at the 12AM slot. Then, the next day, Saturday, March 15, we perform at The Enchanted Forest for the annual RajiWorld+1 SXSW Party.
I am pretty excited and plan on attending LOTS of parties and events and panels, so look for me out there. I will be on hand with cards and CDs.
If you have an invite to a party to share, please send it to me c/o of RajiWorld via email: mail@rajiworld.com Then I will make sure to bring Roggie along with me and she’s life of any party!

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at the Texas State Arts Festival last Sunday! We had a blast! We certainly gained a lot of new fans including these two guys - Texas legends, Gurf Morlix and Ray Wylie Hubbard! After we played, of course I stuck around for their set. It was such an honor to hear Ray Wylie ask his audience, “How about that Nakia? He was something else!” Here’s a great photo taken by Lacey Jones
As always, thanks for listening and I hope to see you soon!
