Well, it’s official.

YEP! I am coming home.

I booked this show first, and have since added more dates in GA and holding out for a few more around the area. I will be at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta for two dates. The first is part of their Monday Night Open Mic Shootout, which I won a round of last summer and the next is a full show of me. I am hoping with some really great folks, but yet to booked as right now.

I couldn’t be more thrilled. I have really announced it (until now) to my family (who probably would never stumble across this anyway, as most of Internet-less) or friends, but those who know seem excited and it looks like I will have a good crowd out to the shows.

Speaking of good crowds, the one out at Graffiti’s last night was GREAT! (Sorry that their website mislead some folks into believing they still served food.) Best I have had in a while. Really in touch with me and really laid back. I had a lot of comedic moments (ok, ok - mistakes) and made some folks laughs, but it was all good fun and many thanks to those who came and especially those who had not been before and/or who brought a friend or two.

I am scheduled for a couple other gigs that are new venues for me, and they are coming up in early August. Nuno’s Nightclub on Lamar and the Historic Downtown Round Rock Artisan Stroll. More info to come on both of these gigs.

In other news - my diet seems to be working. I have been doing the low carb/excercise thing and it’s working quite well. 13 pounds and going strong. My hair is longer than it has been since Lilith Fair, 1998 and my beard is pretty full. I have some video from last night that I will try to edit and post soon for you to get a good idea of what I mean.

A few weeks ago I had my wallet stolen. (Technically I lost the wallet, but the saint who found it ran with the damn thing instead of turning it in!) But it actually helped in a little way, as I am now a Texan! I have a drivers license to prove it and I am registered to vote in TX too!

Well, I am going to bed. I can’t wait for you all to hear the new material and I am working on adding lyrics to the website.
