Nakia’s 2010 SXSW Schedule

Hey folks – Nakia here!!

SXSW Music is just a few days away and I am excited about the shows I will be performing this year. This year I will be performing solo – just me and a piano – including an appearance at the annual KGSR Four Seasons Broadcast, an official SXSW showcase at the beautiful St. David’s Bethell Hall, and my first ever SXSan Jose performance.

I also have the pleasure of continuing my backing vocals with Alejandro Escovedo as we perform several sets during SXSW including his infamous last night of the fest at Continental Club. In addition to singing backing vocals, Alejandro as bestowed the honor of opening up his annual day party at Maria’s Taco Xpress on Saturday! Wed. 3/17 8:15PM – SXSan Jose Benefiting SIMS – San Jose Hotel/Jo’s Coffee Parking Lot – FREE!
Thu. 3/18 8PM – Official SXSW Showcase – St. David’s Bethell Hall – Badge/Wristband Required
Fri. 3/19 2PM – RajiWorld+Some Benefiting Sweet Relief – Jovita’s on S. 1st – Free (Donation suggested)
Sat. 3/20 11AM – Alejandro Escovedo’s Annual Day Party – Maria’s Taco Xpress – Free!!
