One of Austin’s most legendary music venues, Antone’s hosts the release of the Sept/Oct 2009 ‘ACL centric’ issue of L Style G Style. This is a party you don’t want to miss! Live music performances, standup comedy, photos with Lonestar RollerGirls, eats from Frank , dessert from Austin Cake Ball, drinks and a signature tune-infused cocktail, giveaways galore and much more!

Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival

DATE: Sunday, August 30th

WHERE: Waterloo Park

TIME: Doors at 11AM – Nakia is on at 1PM

In the nineteen years since its inception, what started as a friendly contest between Austin and San Antonio has become one of the largest annual contests in the world, the Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival. FREE to the public (with a donation of three healthy, non-perishable food items or a cash donation to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas), the event draws upwards of 15,000 spectators and more than 350 entries every year. This year the Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival will take place on Sunday, August 30 at Waterloo Park from 11:00am – 5:30pm. Live music from The Fireants, Tiny Tin Heart, Paula Nelson Band, T-Bird and the Breaks, and Nakia & His Southern Cousins.
