Nakia’s Annual Birthday Bash At Jovita’s Poster Is Done!

Last year we started a new annual tradition – having Nakia’s birthday party at Jovita’s. Now with the band playing there the last weekend of every month it falls a week after Nakia’s actual birthday (February 20th) when he’ll actually be performing in San Marcos at Cheatham Street Warehouse for the first of many shows there.

So, Saturday, February 28th, Nakia & His Southern Cousins will come to Jovita’s armed with that Southern Soul you love so much and some fun prizes too! So bring your dancing shoes and some friends and family for what is always a fun time! Hopefully, as always, we’ll have a few surprise guests for you as well!

We’ll see you at the party on the 28th! Until then, remember – This Thursday, the 19th, is the band’s last show in their 10 month Thursday night residency there. It’s been recommended by the Chronicle too! So be there!
