Another Day In Bed

Well, I have successfully spent almost an entire day in bed. I did get up several times to try and move around and I even made it outside to walk to the end of the block and back, but boy I paid for that later. Looks like I might have to miss the whole day at RajiWorld tomorrow too!

So, as the day draws to a close I am trying to take a moment and reflect on what I have learned from this experience. This is something that my new friend Barry has taught me. I can safely say that I have these things to take away from the experience:

1. Don’t yell. I should never ever EVER yell. No matter what is going on. This endangers my voice and my voice is my only true instrument. So, unless I am screaming bloody murder… No more yelling.

2. Invest in a really fluffy pillow. Penicillin in your ass cheek hurts kids. If you’re going to try and sit around the house after having a nice thick shot of it, you’re going to need something nice, big, and most of all comfy! Unfortunately, I didn’t have this, so I stayed in bed most of the time. It does make me wish I had bought that Fatboy though.

Thank God for Roberto The Faithful though! I would have been a mess without him to help me around the house.

On a super major happy positive note, The Mother Truckers have been officially added into rotation at KGSR. This is really good news for Teal and Josh. Teal has agreed to sing with me on my recording next week at Willie’s.

It’s been over a week since my last NA meeting. Got to hit one up tomorrow night or Saturday for sure. I am missing the fellowship and sharing.

Oh and I got a new chubby action figure last week! Peter Griffin – Family Guy series 5.
