Step One: Complete AMF Incubator Application – DONE!

Well, I have done it. I have submitted my application for the 2005 Austin Music Foundation Incubator Program. Click that link and read all about it. It’s amazing. What a unique and absoutely amazing opportunity it would be to win. The short end of it is that if I were to win, AMF’s program would grant me $15,000 in monies for recording a CD, marketing, manufacturing, and access to top-level mentors over a period of about 12-18 months!!

The process to apply is very simple, especially now that it is available to complete the application in it’s entirety online! The first year of the program, I submitted in person.

I got to attend a public forum about the whole process and met with some of the advisory board members there. It was great because I knew so many of them from my networking or shows and some through the Apple Store!

Needless to say – I am stoked! I feel that I have a great chance at winning this year and that I put in a great application. I will be giving updates as the progression continues. Selection of the semi-finalists should be around February 22nd.
